Rings of Health is a personal Oura data viewer. This page describes how the app handles your data.
What Data Is Accessed
The app requests access to Oura data you authorize through Oura OAuth, including daily readiness, activity, and sleep data.
How Data Is Used
- To fetch and display your Oura data in the app dashboard.
- To maintain your OAuth session and refresh access tokens when needed.
Token Storage
OAuth tokens are stored in a server-side key-value store and referenced using a cookie (rings_uid) set in your browser.
Cookies
oura_state: short-lived security cookie used during OAuth login.rings_uid: identifies the token record associated with your session.
Data Sharing
This app does not intentionally sell or share your Oura data with third parties except as required to operate the Oura integration (Oura API requests).
Data Deletion
If you want stored tokens removed, contact support and include enough information to identify your account/session.
Security
Reasonable efforts are used to protect stored tokens, but no system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
